Why do Anglers Need survival skills?

Anglers are special a breed of men and women that will go to far off remote locations to search for that once in a lifetime catch. You could end up on a mountain top along a stream that no one knows exist or you could be off shore chasing that salt water catch of a lifetime. Maybe you will be in a country that is foreign to yours, with different cultures or languages you are not custom too. Anglers prepare for the hunt by learning all they can learn about the particular fish they are going after, Anglers prepare for there quest by purchasing the very best in gear and fishing tackle.

But here is a question for you the Angler. Are you prepared to survive a sudden storm when you are alone and out in the middle of no where? If you encounter a Natural Disaster have you got the knowledge to prevail against nature? If you should injure yourself while angeling do you know how to take care of yourself until you can get the attention you need without going into a panic? And finally what if you were to get lost and night time came along and the skys would not reveal the stars too you due to clouds. Are you truly prepared for any occasion.

I hope that this little post has jarred the thought process for those Anglers that have not thought of all the possibilities. You have to be prepared for anything if you want your trip to be a Fabulous Memory. Not a disaster that makes it your last.
