My One day New Mexico fishing license yields big catch. What a day at Grindstone Lake at Ruidoso New Mexico. Arrived at the lake at about 10am armed with worms and Power Bait Debbie and I rig up with a couple of split shots and a salmon egg hook baited with a worm cast out from the comfort of our folding outdoor chair and in about 10 minutes the fun begins first in with a Trout of about 6 inches is Debbie and just a minute later I pull in a trout just a little larger Trout. That is great our first two fish in about 15 minutes of fishing ( as far as I am concerned I have already had a Great day fishing) But wait till you here the rest of it. We start catching and releasing trout of all sizes from about 6 inches to about 20 inches and over the next 5 hours we have caught 27 trout of course they all went back to fight another day. So at 3 pm with sunburned arms and faces (we forgot the damn sunblock in the truck) we pack up our gear place the day in our memory banks forever and leave the beauty of Grindstone Lake Having had the Best One Day Fishing Trip of Our Lives
