My favorite Fishing Rod is the ugly stick, My wife gave me one for fathers day so I went and tested it out. The one I have is a cool little light weight rod that is great for crappie and bluegill it has lots of action and it is fun tugging those fish in with this light weight rod. So my tip today is to try out an ugly stick Its my Favorite Rod and lots of fun and lots of choices I went light weight buy I am betting that You heavy weight Anglers can find just what you want too.

An Ugly Stick is the rod my son-in-law and I use exclusively. I like the medium-light 7' rod for everything...trolling, casting, bottom and/or bobber...works for me. And my inexpensive Shakespeare Patriot spin-cast reel works fine too.
